For those couples who will not only have children at their wedding but want kids to be very much included, watch how well this 2 year old entertained the guests. Think how much fun it would be to have a dozen out there doing their thing. It is possible, all we need to do it email the parents in advance with an MP3 of the tune so they can prepare their pride and joy(s) with a little coaching and some choreography then leave the rest up to us.

The question (Can men and women be just friends?) has been asked and debated probably as long as there have been men and women . Before you decide your answer to this question, watch this!
If you ever had the idea of doing something unique on the dance floor at your wedding reception but needed some encouragement, watch the couple in black.
Then go for it!
Andrea is an Italian colleague I worked with in the Kosovo United Nations Mission. Katja and I were pleased to have Andrea visit our Colorado home a few years back while he was on his world tour. At that time, Andrea shared his plans to someday marry the love of his life Elif, a beautiful Turkish lady.
The bringing together of two cultures is never without some issues but love can overcome so much and their dream was realized on April 20th 2010.
The attached video is from Andrea and Elif’s wedding reception which took place in Anakra Turkey.
We are so happy for them both!
On September 18, 2010 Kristy and Cody’s wedding and reception took place at the picturesque Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort in Nathrop, CO (Our town). Celestial Event Provided music for the ceremony as well as for the Reception. In addition to Ceremony music we placed concealed lapel microphones on Cody, the Groom, and the Minister so the guests were able to hear their vows. A family friend, a virtuso guitarist, was to play an interlude tune during the Unity Candel Ceremony. Unfortunately the guitarist was traveling without his guitar and came directly from the airport. Fortunately, at the last-minute, we were notified and were able to provide him with Katja’s pride and joy, her Takamine ”Nashville” Guitar and a second Bose L1 Audio System. The result was excellent. The weather was perfect and the ceremony unfolded exactly as planned.
We produced a slide show Music Video from the photos taken by the photographer Kent Smith Photography www.kentsmithphotography.net The photo copies provided us were low resoultion so the image quality is not as good as it could have been but the video is well worty watching. The Processional for the Bridal Party was the theme from Forest Gump so we use that for the video. Enjoy!
The reception took place in Princeton’s Pavilion and it was an all out party! The music for this slide video was Kristy and Cody’s grand entrance tune, Livin’ Our Love Song. Again it was rendered from low rez image copies.
Enjoy!
A choreographed line dance could be great fun but don’t expect anything like this. On the other hand, if you and your Wedding Party can accomplish this, why not!
Last night we did a 2 hour initial planning session with Ashley and Patrick (30 July in Golden) by telephone.
They came up with some great ideas.
For example, a close friend is a auctioneer and she offered her services. We decided the first Dollar Dance should be auctioned off to the highest bidders. That will be a lot of fun and a great way to build interest in the Dollar Dance.
Looks like Ashley and Patrick will be able to afford that honeymoon after all!
Excellent for a classical Wedding Ceremony processional for the bridal party or for prelude music.
This example is performed by a 13 year old prodigy.
Last week we were in Las Vegas for the Mobile Beat Magazine Convention and conference. It was great to attend seminars presented by some of the Wedding Entertainment industries’ greatest performers/DJ’s/Wedding Entertainment Directors/Coordinators/Hosts and Masters of Ceremonies. Always much to learn about new ideas and how to make old ideas work better and look fresh.
One of the side benefits of visiting Vegas is taking in a show or two. We got an inside tip about Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns at the Palms on Monday night. This is a band of fourteen incredible musicians who have jobs helping make some of the biggest names in entertainment sound great in Las Vegas. True pros who put together this side band to simply enjoy their passion their way. If you are ever in Vegas on a Monday night, check them out at the Palms. Tickets are like seven bucks and you never know who might show up.
